I've had massages before, and they've always been enjoyable, but I would would still feel in pain or tense afterwards and had sort of conceded to living my life with chronic neck and back pain. Having a massage with Jason was totally life changing! Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Jason completely tailored his work to my needs and what was unique to my body. He made me feel totally relaxed, at ease, and very comfortable. He did a great job explaining his practice and ethos and it was very evident in his approach. This felt less like a standard massage and more like true, healing body work. I left feeling a million times lighter and i cannot emphasize enough how much better i feel after ONE massage. I can move in ways i haven't been able to in years, i have so much more relief, and i cannot wait to go back. Jason is simply the best!
Jason Lasley at Written on the Body is an amazing healer. I have had many massages in the past but this was the first time I felt like someone truly took the time to understand and listen. Jason provided a safe, calm, peaceful space. Jason is truly talented and genuinely cares about people. This message was beyond relaxing, it was healing and I left feeling lighter and restored.
Andrew was amazing. Communication skills were impeccable. I really felt heard when expressing where my issues were and he took the time to really get in there. I feel so good! I will be back and I’m adding the monthly membership to my Xmas list ASAP to see him monthly.
I had a wonderful appointment with Katie. This was my first massage in several years and it was a sublime experience. Katie was an excellent communicator, always ensuring that she was effectively working through my most difficult body parts. The experience was rejuvenating and I look forward to being able to return.
I had a 60min massage with Luna. It was my first time at this office as I was gifted a massage by a friend. Luna was very welcoming and asked me where I wanted to to have her work on my back. She also encouraged me to tell her about the level of pressure/strength I like and I felt very comfortable telling her when to decrease pressure and when to increase pressure. She's very strong!
